T = TOTAL INABILITY (Called in Calvinism, Total Depravity, but actually taught
as the Total Inability of man to choose Truth. The Calvinist plays many such
word games. The Word of God teaches that God created man with the ability to
reason, choose, and receive Truth.):

Ephesians 2:8:  "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God."

Romans 10:17:  "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of
God."

James 1:21:  "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness,
and RECEIVE with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls."
Isaiah1:18:  "Come now, and let us REASON together, saith the LORD: though your
sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like
crimson, they shall be as wool."

Deuteronomy 30:19:  "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore
CHOOSE LIFE, that both thou and thy seed may live."

Duke didn't know what "vertical component" means, and when he realized he

Ted: "the tension's vertical component would be W/2."

Duke: "That's not the tension in the ropes, stupid ass." (August 30)

Your pants are now around your ankles. I laughed when you first said the rope
tension was W/2.

You got sucked right into your own joke.

No, actually you're the one playing word games.

What do you mean by "choose Truth", and why do you have "Truth"
capitalized? That seems suspicious.

You're so easy to back into a corner.

Here is what Augustinians ("Calvinists") mean by Total Depravity.

"John MacArthur explains the Gospel in light of man's total depravity"

Watch it and learn how wrong you are.

It's your direct contradiction to God's revealed "free choice".

And God said "man is free to choose". Jesus (whom you don't listen to) was
"totally man" and he freely choose to love and obey his Father in heaven in the
cross rather than disobey his Father in heaven.

Your trying to explain your faith via a youtube video clearly shows that you
don't even understand.

Citing the Bible to prove the Bible is accurate?

Kinda like citing DC Comics to prove that Superman

Nope. DC has the decency to run a disclaimer in its comics,
noting that they are fiction. (Or did when I was a kid.)

Except that the comics I read as a kid had a disclaimer on the first page,
like this:

[quote]

"Except for those who have authorized use of their names, the
stories, characters and incidents mentioned in this periodical
are entirely imaginary and fictitious, and no identification with

That quote is not in the Bible.
2 Corinthians 5:10New International Version (NIV)
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so
that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done
while in the body, whether good or bad.
That is not a quote from god or even jesus.
In the Epistles where Paul said that everything he teaches comes
from Jesus Christ himself.
Do you really think that Paul, the great Apostle to the gentiles,
speaks on his own.
Paul never even met Jesus.
Then how did Jesus send Paul out into the world as the great Apostle
to the gentiles?
Where is the proof he did?
The book of Acts is your friend.
Citing the Bible to prove the Bible is accurate?
It's history.

Kinda like citing DC Comics to prove that Superman
is real.
DC Comics is not historical.

You're so easy to back into a corner.
Here is what Augustinians ("Calvinists") mean by Total Depravity.
"John MacArthur explains the Gospel in light of man's total depravity"
And God said "man is free to choose".
That phrase is not in the Bible.
Jesus said "if you want to be my disciple, follow me".

This is alt.atheism. If you trolls must habe babble quote
pissing contests, take them elsewhere.

Your various sects can't agree on which books belong in the
Christian babble, which names they should have, which of the
myriad translations are most authentic, and WTF the phrases
mean when you can agree on the words.

Why do trolls think this is an apt forum? Sure, we'll
tell your opponents they are full of it, but we'd say the
same to any trolling theist.

Do you realize that the 5 points of the TULIP line of belief totally ignores the
teachings of Jesus?

Take the "T" in TULIP = total depravity of those not "selected" by God. And do

You are a liar. Because that's a lie.

Examples: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day." [John 6:44]

"You did not choose me, but I chose you." [John 15:16]

Then Jesus said, 'Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.'
When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. He told them, 'The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that,
'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'" [Mark 4:9-12]
--
"These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules."
