If he had to turn a pagan dominion into a kingdom of God there would only be ONE branch of government in that kingdom. If this is not heresy then what is it? Saint Paul himself didn't advocate this kind of government.

It's too obvious to anyone who's paying any attention to you that what
you're really mad about is you know there is no way you will ever stop
me from posting here in a.a., or any other newsgroup for that matter.

You're mad because you know that you will never be able to stop me
from posting anywhere I want to post.

Basically, you're mad because you know you're a loser.

The unregenerate non-elect will always believe what another unregenerate
non-elect says, whereas the regenerate chosen elect will intrinsically
recognize what the unregenerate non-elect says as a lie. Therefore those
who were predestined for Hell, will still end up in Hell, and those who
are predestined for Heaven are still going to go to Heaven. Nothing in
God's plan will change. For by convincing other unregenerate non-elects
to believe his lies, he is fulfilling that part of God's plan that God
has predestined just for him.

Or, as the Gospel of John very concisely puts it:
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the
door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.
But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the
gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep
by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he
goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A
stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do
not know the voice of strangers."

Bob's a troll. I point it out. If ISPs bothered to enforce
terms of service in regard to USENET anymore, he'd be long
gone, until such time as he found another account and started
spamming again. Duncan feels he is exempt from common courtesy
on the net, an opinion he shares with all the other trolls.

Bob's a troll.
Nope. I'm not trying to convert anybody here in a.a. In fact, it's just the
opposite. I'm telling you why you will never be converted to Christianity.

I post links to videos for my own benefit. I don't care if any atheist ever
watches them or not. Like I said, I know you cannot be converted.
There's only one or two regulars here that I have not read a post from
them where they have not blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Everyone else has.
Many times. That's how I know that they will never be converted.
If I were trying to convert anyone, I'd be long gone from here. But like
I said, I'm just here for my own "Ayn Randian" selfish benefit. Without
going into details, I'll just mention 1 Corinthians 6:2 & 3, and leave
it up
to the reader to make up his or her own mind about what I'm saying.

Besides, whenever I want to watch one of the videos again, I don't have
to use Google to look it up. I just find where I posted the link, click it,
and sit back and watch the video again. Simple as 1-2-3.

So, the next time you think about pinning your troll label on me, you'll
know why you're wrong for doing so.

But, I know you will anyway. That's all due to your religious brainwashing.
You must pin a label on anyone who thinks different from you, or else
you'll go freaking crazy.

I<snip several straw man fallacies>
You start out with "I". That's all anyone needs to see in order to know
just how narcissistic you truly are.

As usual, you're only talking to yourself, or rather in this case, to
the straw men you have built up.

They can be quickly dismissed as unrelated and insignificant.

Time and time again you fail to have anything extensive or far-reaching
to say.

Instead you continuously spew out more and more of your impertinent
garbage, that is meant only to please you.

Your whole life must be one complete self-centered failure.

I, on the other hand, get to relish in knowing how miserable a miscreant
you are when you contemplate your ineffectiveness in ridding me of,
apparently, the only life you have.

I have succeeded. You have failed.

You see how that works?

It's one thing to say it. Anybody can say what you say.

But it's not so easy to irrefutably prove what you say.

That's why you never even make the attempt. You know you can't.

And I know you can't.

Christianity is a faith-based religion.

Roman Catholicism is a works-based cult.

That's why you are not a Christian.

Duncan and Earl, and all others who pretend to the name "Christian":

alt.atheism is not the forum to hash out who is a "True Christian"

That is a total non sequitor. I haven't suggested any theists
debate each otehr in this forum.

From time to time, those making outrageous claims are told by
the atheists and skeptics in the group to "put up or shut up"
about the existence of some ghod or other supernatural beastie.
Encourage spats between Catholics and Protestants wouldn't be that.

I appreciate your posts, Kevin. Why? Because I am a theist. And the
fact that alt.atheism must employ a 'thought policeman' is evidence
that atheism cannot defend itself on an intellectual level only, but
must resort to strong arm tactics to rid themselves of those who

evidence that--> there really IS a most awesome One.

The above are tactics of those who are unwilling to address

For instance? Simple existence isn't proof of how something
came into existence. I can look at a rock and through geology
know how it came to exist. I can see two children with their

There is a Creator.
Prove it.
It is proven by the evidence that is all over the place.
That evidence is what?

Of course, it's never too late. How about here:

The only persons who are deceived here are the ones who believe myths and
legends over what can be observed. That means you Andrew. Of course the
reason for your deception is obvious. You no doubt grew up in a very
religious family and have been brainwashed from birth.

On what planet are mere words "strong arm tactics?"

Maybe if you believe in magic, and think incantations have an
effect on the physical world.

What kind of tactics are calling damnation, hellfire and other
tortures down on nonbelievers, especially by people who believe
those to be real things?

We never get a reasonable response to "Why do you post where you and
your proselytizing are unwanted? Do you see nonbelievers doing that

When words such as "Find some corner of the net to work this out among
yourselves, and leave the atheists and other freethinkers here out
of it.", and "Take your nonsense elsewhere.", are used in a medium where
written words are the only means of correspondence available, viz. a text-only

believe most people would interpret that as a "strong arm tactic".

But since you are now disclaiming that perception in the reading of the

2. Proselytizing of ANY religion is NOT welcome! (Those guilty of this bad nettiquette will be treated as they deserve!)
3. This newsgroup exists for atheists to discuss anything of interest to them and other atheists, although others who are honestly interested in joining a discussion and are not trolls are welcome. Trolls will be treated as what they are.

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet
by starting quarrels or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,
extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a
newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking
readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal,
on-topic discussion, often for the troll's amusement.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll
You haven't shown irrefutable proof where any of that applies to me.
Do that first, then we'll talk.
"posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online
community (such as a newsgroup.....otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic
discussion, often for the troll's amusement."

You push you Calvinist idiocy, continually. Not to convince
anyone of it, "just because."

No, you don't do this. Not "Robert Duncan."

As Skippy Squirrel would say: SPEW!

The unregenerate non-elect will always believe what another unregenerate
non-elect says, whereas the regenerate chosen elect will intrinsically
recognize what the unregenerate non-elect says as a lie. Therefore those
who were predestined for Hell, will still end up in Hell, and those who

If you don't see yourself there, you are maximally deluded.
Robert Duncan doesn't care. He's one of our newsgroup narcissists.
He can't accept that we will never agree with him because he believes,
as many theist trolls do, that they are the center of the Universe and
everyone revolves around them. They feel that we MUST agree with them
about everything. And, they use religion as a snare. And so they trap themselves here trying to force us to worship them. They can't
understand why they fail. It has to be our fault.

Because you are a pompous asshole who posts off charter nonsense and doesn't realize that being biased against religion is based on the fact that most of the bible is nonsense. You don't come here to discuss but to pontificate.

That's why you are not a Christian.
alt.atheism is not the forum to hash out who is a "True Christian"
and who is not. Find some corner of the net to work this out among
yourselves, and leave the atheists and other freethinkers here out
of it.
"Once again, Earl proves he is not only uncultured, but

actually learn something from this group."
I'm only doing what you "suggested".
That is a total non sequitor. I haven't suggested any theists
debate each otehr in this forum.

From time to time, those making outrageous claims are told by
the atheists and skeptics in the group to "put up or shut up"
about the existence of some ghod or other supernatural beastie.
I have already explained why that is impossible. Evidently, you
choose not to understand why that is impossible.

That's your problem, not mine.

Where are these, "freethinkers"? You can't say you
are free and still be following the gullible masses
like most of the atheists here are doing.

You can't be happy either unless you are truly "free".
This means you must follow *the truth* regardless

I used the term "freethinker" to be inclusive of atheists, agnostics,
or anyone else not constrained by the dogmas of traditional religion.
The charter/FAQ welcomes believers to participate in the discussion
if they aren't trolls, and have sincere questions about atheism and
atheists. We aren't just a source of "prospects" for whatever
religion anyone else is selling. We aren't a "target-rich environment"
for weirdos like Duncan to continually damn and insult, either.

Your very words above expose you to be -not- free because you

alt.atheism is not the forum to hash out who is a "True Christian"
and who is not. Find some corner of the net to work this out among
yourselves, and leave the atheists and other freethinkers here out
of it.
Where are these, "freethinkers"? You can't say you
are free and still be following the gullible masses
like most of the atheists here are doing.
You can't be happy either unless you are truly "free".
This means you must follow *the truth* regardless
of what others say about you.
Right?
Yes.
...you don't know what a freethinker is. You've probably never
experienced the freedom from religious delusion. Being a freethinker
means that you are free to contemplate the real facts of life and
nature without the noxious, invasive, encumbrances of religion.
Yet you remain enslaved by your atheistic origins myth. A true
"freethinker" would be free to investigate truth wherever it may
lead, and not be confined in any box, be it religious or atheistic.
Your very words above expose you to be -not- free because you
express a philosophical bias preventing you from acknowledging
any *truth* that is outside of your expressed bias. Thus, you are
not a "freethinker".
Using religious language on us merely shows how limited
your thought processes are.
You also are in a box and are not free, because you express
a philosophical bias that prevents you from acknowledging
any truth that is outside of your bias. Therefore you cannot
be a "freethinker".
...no Androol...YOU'RE the one in the box. A clouded box of fantasy
and delusion from which there little association with reality. Your
thought processing is totally constrained by ancient religious
nonsense. That's a hellish scenario I wouldn't wish upon my worst
enemy !
Your enflamed emotion reveals you to be out of control
and bereft of ability to reason as a rational, thinking man.

All of which --> supports my premise.

Thank you!

That's exactly how I think of you. The difference is that I want to learn
and you are trapped in the litter box afraid to learn. I want to understand religions and how they affect peoples' minds. You want to convert people or
send them to your hell. Don't try to deny this. You know it's true.

It's a bias against things that are proven to be false or just plain stupid.
Once that was established it was time to move on to more reliable sources.

Impossible. We follow the teachings of Jesus. Calvinists don't.
It's one thing to say it. Anybody can say what you say.
But it's not so easy to irrefutably prove what you say.
That's why you never even make the attempt. You know you can't.
And I know you can't.
You push "tulip". A false teaching NOT by God.

We push the following from Jesus, complete with verse id.

Tulips eat shit, same as Trump. We Christian Pastafarians know that Jesus
founded his church on a Rock-Hard Peter.

Matthew 16:18 Jesus said "Thou art Peter, and upon this Rock-Hard Peter I
will build my church"

That has been irrefutably proven wrong for centuries.

But it's alright if you want to believe it, as long as you know

Don't be mad. I'm not the only one who can see you're a brown-noser.
It's just you're the best brown-noser I've ever seen.
Thank you, Bob. (I guess.) And I wasn't mad. I never get emotional here

There you go again.

You must have a lot of experience.

It's easy to say it, but you cannot irrefutably prove it.
Here's what Jesus taught his new Church on earth.
That's just your biased opinion, as taught by the RCC,
(Roman Catholic Cult).
It's easy to say it, but you cannot irrefutably prove it from
Scripture. You can only repeat what the RCC says it is.
That has been irrefutably proven wrong for centuries.

Just because something is written down somewhere does not make it true and does not mean it shouldn't be tested against reality.

Jesus, was a hypocrite. He told his followers not to call anyone a fool.

Whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hellfire. Matthew 5:22

Yet he often called his critics and disciples fools.

Ye fools and blind. Matthew 23:17, 19

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed. Mark 8:38

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God ... he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:18, 36

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:16

He condemned cities to dreadful deaths and to the eternal torment of hell because they didn't care for his preaching.

Whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. Mark 6:11

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25

He encouraged men to castrate themselves.

There are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. Matthew 19:12

That has been irrefutably proven wrong for centuries.
But it's alright if you want to believe it, as long as you know
you belong to a Satanic cult, and you're not a Christian.
You tulips don't even mention the teachings of Jesus.
Jesus was a prick.
He criticized the Pharisees for not killing parent-cursing children.

God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Matthew 15:4

Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Mark 7:10

Roman Catholicism is a works-based cult.
And it's bad to be nice to each other and do good works?
Post by duke
Only the works as specified by Jesus.

But, Jesus was crazy and nasty. He was probably a roile model for Stalin.

You can't prove anything from scripture, it is known to have much that simply is not true.

RCC is of course nonsense just like Calvinism, Islam, and Judaism. They all claim an imaginary God and lots of imaginary people and events.

Abraham, Moses, and Noah did not exist.

But you know this already.

Apologies, probably Androol, but it is applicable to all the loonies who profess a belief in a magic sky daddy. They need to be reminded that their religion is based on so many lies and contradictions that you have have to wonder what the hell they are thinking and why they still believe in nonsense.

Going from being a kid who was sent to a Baptist church where all they did was try and scare the shit out of you and continually presented stories that even an 8-year-old had trouble with, to an atheist who while not a biblical scholar, has learned enough and now can look at the fantasy objectively, it still boggles the mind that people can subscribe to such obvious bullshit. Seriously how could any full-grown adult with a functioning brain look at this mythology and not understand that it is in fact mythology, especially the OT.

It's one thing to believe in something it's another thing altogether to believe in something that is so obviously nonsensical and obviously the product of the people of the times who don't even seem to understand the nature of what they believe in. Clearly, their God is not a nice person and has the most fragile ego of any supernatural entity ever created by man. They fail to see the contradictions in their god's omnipotence and how it is actually a limitation on it. The complete and utter neglect by this being over the last 2000 years and the history of the Judeo/Christian religions makes one think they must be batshit crazy, especially if they use our trolls as an example. Fortunately, that kind of idiocy is only held by a very small percentage of people and probably not by any of our trolls except maybe Dook. They represent everything that is wrong with religion and can't possibly think they are going to convince any lurkers to join their particular cults.

And if there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence. Bertrand Russell

Jesus' last words on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" hardly seem like the words of a man who planned it that way. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure there is something wrong here. Donald Morgan
