Florida 17 dead, many wounded
Baltimore 2 dead.
Austin, 2 dead, numerous wound
How about Josef Stalin? Those people were pikers compared to him.
Estimated =20 million dead
Mao Tse Tung in China=estimated 400,000 dead
Pol Pot-Estimated 2 million dead
Nicholas Ceasescu in Romania-Estimated 1 million dead
Nobody has been able to get the Castro regime in Cuba to give them a count
North Korea has had severe food shortages since 1953, but no count of those who starved to death is available.
We know. What is your point? Atheism is bad?
As a Christianised Jew, how would the in-your-face sociopath like to
be tarred with the Hitler brush?
Just a small stroke. Right under the nose.
A Jewish Nazi?????????????????????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Nobody is calling you a Nazi. But don't you think Christians would
object to being held responsible for the atrocities 'committed by
Hitler', who was a Christian?
Yes, Stalin, Mao et al were atheist dictators, who persecuted
religious people in their respective countries. But what has that got
to do with atheism as such? Are you saying that I'm pro Pol Pot, and
ready to kill millions of theists, simply because I don't believe in
Theists frequently make the argument that atheists, dependent for
morality on their own consciences, are free to rationalize any activity.
Hence, mass murder for one's own benefit, or in the service of some
supposed good is allowable, under the doctrine "the ends justify the means."
There are atheists and atheisms subject to that, notably Marxism-Leninism,
M-L-Stalinism, Maoism, Korean Juche, etc. We never hear of a non-Marxist,
atheist philosophy that has these results when adherents obtain power.
Sometimes, when a critic points out that since Hitler attempted to co-
opt, constrain and pervert Christianity, the Nazis can be put in the
"atheist camp." Hitler relied on religious belief for his political
legitimacy, and appointed some who wanted to revive old pagan beliefs
to high office.
I consider his race theory mystical bullshit, and hardly based on
Who knows what the numbers of dead and enslaved would be if we added
up a complete tally of all the victims of all the wars and massacres
justified by religious belief, including that in ghod-kings and
monarchs who ruled "by divine right." "For ghod and country" was
the usual battle cry, once the nation-state developed. It was
"our city's king is a ghod" well before that.
