The American abortion rate is at an all-time low
We have better birth control to thank.
Dec 3, 2018
The United States’ abortion rate has
fallen dramatically over the past
decade, new federal data shows.
A new report from the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention shows
that the national abortion rate
declined 26 percent between 2006 and
2015, hitting the lowest level that
the government has on record.
This decline in abortions is happening
amid other positive trends in
reproductive health. The number of
teen pregnancies in the United States,
for example, has decreased dramatically
since the 1990s — and a lot of that
seems to have to do with young adults
using better contraception.
”When contraceptives aren’t available,
women use abortion, even if it isn’t
legally sanctioned and even if it puts
them at great physical risk,” Diana
Greene Foster, an associate professor
at University of California San Francisco
who studies abortion and contraception,
recently told me over email. “When
contraceptives are more available, use
of abortion declines.”
But researchers who focus on studying
America’s abortion rate tend to think
the biggest driver of the decline is
increased access to better contraception.
A lot of that has to do with more women
using better contraceptives. In 2012,
the Affordable Care Act began mandating
that insurers cover a wide array of birth
control with no co-payments or cost-
sharing for patients. This meant that
IUDs and implants — the most effective,
reversible contraceptives — became a lot
more affordable for American women.

-control-iud-pill>

And yet, many pro-liars, forced-birthers, and anti-choice freaks
consider effective contraception a form of abortion. They only want the
"natural" method, which, if used exactly as directed, results in
pregnancy. What can you expect from the crazy people? Go figure!

That's a lie, but that's what I've come to expect from you. Perhaps a
very tiny sect of pro-lifers believe what you say, but not the
overwhelming majority. Espousing abstinence as the most effective form
of birth control still holds true, but for those who can't control
themselves, other forms of birth control should be employed. This is a
separate issue from killing babies in the womb.

Ask the Pope, "J". He'll tell you birth control pills are "killing"
unborn kids! You should know Catholic dogma, "J", concerning birth
control and abortion.

Birth control pills prevent the fertilized egg from being implanted,
same as Mother Nature prevents the majority of fertilized eggs from
being implanted. P.S. You need a microscope to see the fertilized
egg. It's a beautiful, natural process that prevents unwanted kids.
Nothing is better than flushing a fertilized egg down the toilet.

Always remember the bottom line: The end result of any/all forms of birth
control (contraception, abortion, homosexuality, etc, etc.) is to reduce
the number of births and thus to result in empty pews and, more to the
point, empty collection plates. That's why the church is against all of
them - and, essentially, to the same degree. They're really all the same
thing.

That's the bottom line.

Yes... I see the similarity... Liberalism is very much like Religion.

Don't fill those pews with American but rather fill the Marxist rallies

get them out of where they are and into a civilized nation.

Accidental death and death by disease isn't murder is it?

The problem as Comey who is formerly of the FBI and a Hillary protector
says that intent is the key to it being illegal.

Giving a chemical to someone to kill them is a pretty evil intent.

It's like going back and giving someone AIDS after you got it, just to
kill them because they pissed you off before you had AIDS.

Maybe Something an ATHEIST WOULD DO?

I didn't think contraceptives are very expensive.
instantly changed from an absurdity to a necessity.

As I began my search, I realized just how disconnected from the reality of birth control prices I was. In my own life, discussions about starting prescription medication went hand-in-hand with discussions about insurance. I knew that the small co-pays I was making were not close to the prices these medications would be without insurance…but I didn’t know by how much.

Soon, I had a spreadsheet full of alarming numbers. Implants, such as Nexplanon and Implanon, cost over $800 each. Intrauterine devices, such as the Mirena and ParaGard, cost over $1,000 each. However, the implants and the IUDs lasted for multiple years. While the cost of birth control pills is around $20 to $50 per individual pack, monthly purchases added up to a yearly sum of anywhere from $240 to $600.

reversible contraceptives — became a lot
more affordable for American women.

And yet, many pro-liars, forced-birthers, and anti-choice freaks
consider effective contraception a form of abortion. They only want
the "natural" method, which, if used exactly as directed, results in
pregnancy. What can you expect from the crazy people? Go figure!
We CHRISTIANS believe that people should be responsibile for their
actions. And we also believe that Marriage is something sacred.
And... one more thing.... indiscriminate sex is not a sport or
something to be proud of doing.
You "christians" are nothing but a collection of sick, degenerate filth.
Not even your own priests believe in that crap anymore. Take your
dogma and shove it up your ass, "Patrick". Stop destroying the lives of
normal, decent people.
