castle. He knows if he doesn't get loose before nightfall he will be
overrun by goblins. Even now he has to hack at one every few minutes.
He finally gets loose and steps into a town portal.

When he emerges, Throback scratches his fingernails down his face and
gouges out his own eyes. "Meaner than you think. Meaner than you
think," he intones.
