Elon Musks close relationship with President-elect Donald Trump will
eventually come to a halt, according to former New Jersey Gov. Chris
Christie.
The Republican lawmaker, who once supported Trump but has since been one of
the only ones to stand against him in the party, believes that Trumps
blame game tactics will be the reasoning behind a falling out.
In an interview Sunday with ABC News' Jonathan Karl, he said: It ends when
Trump believes that something has gone wrong, and he needs someone to blame
and Musk becomes the person to blame.
Christie clarified that no one knows how long that will take.

Sometimes its hard for folks to understand how intoxicating this can be
for some people, Christie said on ABC.
Just this week, Musk showed what his influence could look like in Trumps
second term after derailing a proposed bipartisan spending bill, risking a
government shutdown. It wasnt until the final hours before the deadline
after two failed bills that a deal was agreed upon.
People who sit at the very center with Trump have a shelf life, and that
shelf life is influenced by outside events, as Speaker Johnson is finding
out right now, the former governor said.
Many Democrats have teased the two, calling Musk the real president in the
relationship.
The political & legacy media puppets all got their new instructions
yesterday and are now parroting the same message to drive a wedge between
@realDonaldTrump and me, wrote Musk on Friday before the passed bill was
brought forth. They will fail.
